Outplacement is a service offered to employees who are leaving an organisation, usually due to job loss or redundancy. It provides support and resources to help them find new employment.

FAQ

Typically, the employer pays for outplacement services as part of their separation package. However, in some cases, individuals may choose  to access and fund their outplacement independently.

All our outplacement programs are delivered remotely via Zoom or Teams. 

We have a track record of supporting 98% of employees into new roles within 3 months. 

We offer bespoke outplacement programs that are tailored to suit individuals’ needs. Typically these are up to 12 months in duration allowing for outplacement, post placement support and ongoing coaching as needed. 

The level of outplacement support provided depends on the individual and the program. Some employees for example, those without recent job market experience, might need more intensive support. Our approach is tailored to meet the needs of each individual. This ensures they get the support they need, when they need it.  

Unless explicitly requested and included in the outplacement support contract, no, we do not routinely report back to HR on progress and outcomes. Our relationships with our outplacement clients are built on trust. Confidentiality is crucial to this relationship and to adhere to professional and ethical standards.

The duration of outplacement services can vary depending on the program and the individual’s needs. Some programs may last a few months, while others may continue for up to a year.

While outplacement services can significantly increase an individual’s chances of finding a new job, there is no guarantee of immediate success. The outcome depends on factors such as the individual’s skills, experience, and the job market.
