LaRue Coaching Sustainability Policy

LaRue Coaching is committed to making a positive impact through responsible coaching and consulting. We integrate sustainability into our core values, client service, and business operations.

Environmental Responsibility
• We prioritise online service delivery to reduce travel and cut our carbon footprint.
• Our approach favours digital tools and electronic documents over paper wherever possible.
• We choose suppliers and partners who demonstrate sustainable practices and consider environmental impact in our decision-making.
• We continuously seek ways to limit our environmental impact and encourage others to do the same.

Practical ways we implement sustainability:

Sustainable Paper and Office Practices

We avoid unnecessary printing and use Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified or recycled paper when printing is required, helping to ensure responsible forestry and minimal ecological impact.

Office resources, such as client materials, are provided electronically where possible. When printing is unavoidable, we print double-sided, reuse scrap paper, and recycle paper and printer cartridges.

We utilise renewable energy sources wherever possible (as of 2025 this is 100% solar), including to charge computers and mobile phones

Energy use is reduced by turning off equipment when not in use, and selected devices are chosen for high energy efficiency.

Remote Work & Travel

We operate on a remote-first basis and use virtual meeting tools to reduce travel emissions.

When travel is necessary, we prefer walking, taking public transport, or carpooling, and offset air travel carbon where possible.

Community and Social Initiatives

We actively participate in and support professional and community networks advocating for sustainability and well-being in coaching.

Our social impact includes pro bono coaching for disadvantaged clients, career resources made freely available online, and a portion of profits donated to community and environmental causes.

Waste Reduction and Resource Management

Waste is minimised through recycling and responsible disposal of electronics and consumables through approved WEE schemes.

We opt for high-quality, energy-efficient, and repairable equipment.

Cleaning and kitchen supplies prioritise eco-friendly, biodegradable, or compostable options, and any catering is 100% plant-based to lower our carbon impact.

Social Value and Inclusion
• We provide accessible coaching and supervision, including sliding-scale pricing and pro bono support for those in need.
• We are committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion in all interactions.
• We follow the EMCC Global Code of Ethics and protect data according to GDPR standards.

Responsible Governance
• Sustainability is embedded in our processes and client work, reflected in everyday choices and policies.
• We review our policy annually to ensure alignment with best practices and expectations of clients, partners, and public sector bodies.
• We maintain transparency and a willingness to adapt our sustainability actions to meet the requirements of government, NGO and other tenders as required.

Tender and Compliance
• Where required and when possible, we provide documentation to evidence our sustainable practices and commitments.
• We commit to meeting the specific sustainability, accessibility, and social value criteria outlined in tenders or contract requirements.
